It could be a verbal contract, but is typically written. <BR>For submissive you say "allows themselves". Sometimes it may be that, but often it is more innate than that and just is the way they are. Allows implies choice and at a deep gut level, for some guys at least, it isn't really a choice.<BR>Nice site. In fact of course, masters can find ways of keeping a slave that are as strong as - or stronger than - legally recognised ownership. So I think that definition is inadequate because it focuses on the legal issues.
